It was the early 2000’s in San Antonio, TX, the demand for a quality roofing and gutter company was high, but the number of companies providing such service were severely lacking.
Andrew Johnson was fresh out of the military. Being a smart entrepreneur, he recognized the need for a quality roofing and gutter company and jumped at the opportunity. And in 2006, Prime Seamless Gutters & Roofing was born.
Our #1 and only goal is to do better work while building positive relationships. We hold our work to higher standards of building codes than what the state of Texas requires. Our crews are certified, trained technicians that are reliable, dependable, and knowledgable.
We leave work sites better than we found them and if a mistake happens, we will do our due diligence to set it right.

Andrew Johnson
Founder & CEO
Hi, I’m Andrew Johnson. I am the founder and CEO of Prime Seamless Gutters & Roofing, which I started back in 2006 here in San Antonio, Texas.
I was born in Minnesota, but did most of my growing up in Oregon. One of my very first jobs was installing roofs and gutters back in my late teens and early twenties where I learned the basics of the trade, never knowing how much of a foundation it would later become for my future career.
I joined the US Navy after September 11th, 2001 and served as a Sailor on the USS George Washington and as a Mineman through 2006. I joined the Air National Guard Reserve in 2006 and served through 2010 as well. Those will forever be some of the best years and memories of my life and I am so thankful to have such an amazing brotherhood of veterans all around this great country.
I started Prime Seamless Gutters & Roofing in 2006 wanting to utilize skills I had from my past experience and hoping to make a better life for my family. I have kept the focus of Prime on customer service, attention to detail, quality, and doing the right thing. I am proud of what we have accomplished as a team here at Prime and the most rewarding part of this venture is having an extended family of employees here that I deeply appreciate and care about.
Katie and I have been married since 2011 and she came over to Prime in 2020 and we finally get work as a team here. We have four children, three boys and a girl. All the boys are grown and graduated now and our little girl is in high school. They are the greatest joy of my life. Other things I enjoy include boating, camping, competitive BBQing for Wylde Angus BBQ, hunting, and spending time with friends and family.

Katie Johnson

Hi, my name is Katie Johnson. I am co-owner and CFO of Prime alongside my husband, Andrew. He started Prime in 2006 and in 2020, I left my career in custom home construction to work with him and help manage the business together.
I have lived in San Antonio and the surrounding countryside all of my life. I went to high school at Antonian and Clark and I finished school with a B.B.A. in Small Business Management from UTSA. I’ve worked in new home sales, education software sales, and I held a VP position with a local custom home builder before I came over to Prime (at last!).
Andrew and I have been married since 2011 and we have 4 children between us–all mostly grown now! It’s unbelievable how fast the time went!!! We also have Tommy Boy, our very silly and sweet Labradoodle. He’s a train wreck and the topic of many family conversations and laughter. I enjoy spending time with my family and kids, hanging out with our friends, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and trying to hold my own on our competitive BBQ team making jackpot submissions (Margaritas, Bloody Mary’s, beans, salsa, etc.). We have really found a new passion with our BBQ team and we really look forward to the cookoff competitions. Once Canyon Lake has water again, I look forward to getting on the lake a little more often too—it’s our favorite summertime destination.

Carlos Tamez
Production Manager
Hey folks! My name is Carlos Tamez and I’m the Roofing Production Manager here at Prime seamless Gutters & Roofing. I chose to work at Prime because they take care of every single customer. It doesn’t matter if the job is big or small, we just love what we do and we really take pride in our work. In my personal time, I love to ride around in my old trucks, go fishing, hunting, travel with the family, explore new places, and I really, really love BBQing for family and friends. I’m from a small town down by the Mexico border and my parents brought me here when I was a child. Soon after, I became a US citizen of this amazing and blessed country. I have been working on roofs since 2005 and I soon became one of the most recognized roofers in San Antonio and the surrounding area from the roofing suppliers. I love what I do and I look forward to working with you on your project.
Ariel Muela
Seamless Gutter Consultant
I’m Ariel Muela and I’ve been with Prime Seamless Gutters & Roofing going on 8 years now. I originally started with the company as a gutter installer. After years of installing, I was promoted into Sales. I’ve now been in Sales for a number of years. I am fluent in Spanish and English and I like being outdoors and spending time with my family and friends. I like working with Prime for plenty of reasons, but one of them being the awesome staff we have on our team. We are here to help and get our customers taken care of. Prime has been an awesome company to work with and I don’t plan on changing it!
Jennifer Aragon
Office Manager
Hi! My name is Jennifer Aragon. I moved to the United States in 2007 from Canada and I have been in San Antonio since 2012. I am a newlywed with 6 kids between us. I was previously in the Custom Home business where I was an Office Manager and quickly moved into starting their in-house deco department and purchasing. I made the move to Prime Seamless in March of 2023 as their Office Manager. I am happy to be a part of this amazing Prime Team!
Robert Lambert

Hi, My name is Robert Lambert and I have been a part of the Prime Seamless Family for the last 7 plus years. I started my gutter career growing up in Corpus Christi, TX. Just out of high school, I moved to San Antonio in 2005 when I met my wonderful wife. I started my career here at Prime in 2016 as a gutter installer and eventually moved up into Management as a gutter specialist and sales consultant. I love being outdoors and having a great time. Some of my hobbies are fishing, bike riding, & trail riding in my SXS.
Jace Rathell
Seamless Gutter Consultant
My name is Jace and I was born and raised in Maryland/Virginia. I played baseball, basketball, and football all throughout high school. I moved to Castroville, TX in 2006. I went to Medina Valley until 2009. I started my journey in the rain gutters industry when I turned 22 years old and I never looked back after that. I started as a lead installer technician for 10 and a half years. Then I moved into a sales representative position and I absolutely love it. Prime Seamless Gutters & Roofing has been an amazing company to work for and we are truly like one big family.
Outside of work, I coach AAU Basketball and I play basketball myself as well. I am a full-time father of 2 amazing daughters, who also play basketball. My hobbies are fishing, basketball, bowling (competitively), being outdoors, and my family.
Elijah Montgomery

Hello! I am Elijah Montgomery. I am in roofing & gutter sales here at Prime. Before working at Prime, I was an Assistant Manager and Sales Consultant for 7 years at Discount Tire Company. The knowledge I gained about sales & customer service really helped when I made the transition to come to Prime. I started as a gutter installer and very quickly became a lead installer. After three years of installing, I was then moved into the sales position I currently hold. I enjoy the opportunities that I receive daily through customer interaction & helping people get the best out of their customer experience.
I was born and raised in New Braunfels/Canyon Lake area, and currently I reside in Spring Branch. Spending time with my family is what motivates me most. I have a loving wife and two beautiful children. We love God, nature, and all things sports related.

Hi! My name is Sarina Ramirez, with Prime Seamless Gutters & Roofing. I am the Administrative Assistant for Prime Seamless! I graduated from Crystal City High School in 2020 and a few months later, I move to San Antonio. I have graduated with my Associates in Business and now I am studying at UTSA in their Paralegal program. Ever since I started here at Prime, I have enjoyed every minute of it. I love getting to work with my team and help people every day. Prime always goes the extra mile to make sure everything gets done right. When I am not at work, you will find me somewhere sunny with friends and family!
Taylor Elliott
Roof Sales Consultant
Hey y’all, my name’s Taylor Elliott. Prior to my roofing work, I used to build metal structures such as barndominums and other metal related buildings. I’m originally from San Antonio, Texas, but have bounced around from Virgina, Austin, Fort Worth, and a brief time in Washington D.C. I moved back to Texas for good in 2010 and have been here ever since. I graduated from Smithson Valley High School in 2018, and later attended college at North East Lake View. I studied business there and played on the men’s basketball team for 2 years. After my years in college, I played a year of professional basketball for the ABA team, the Alamo All-Stars, and I’ve been in roofing ever since (3 years strong)! One of the many things I enjoy about my profession is seeing the look on my homeowners’ faces when they first see their brand-new roof. It provides me with a sense of accomplishment and joy knowing that I was able to help ensure that they have a structurally safe and aesthetically pleasing roof! Well, that’s a little about me! I can’t wait to learn a bit about y’all and help with any roofing and gutter needs you may have in the future!
Mike Riojas
New Construction Consultant
My name is Mike Riojas and the New Construction Consultant at Prime Seamless Gutters & Roofing. I graduated from Texas A&M in 2011 with a Business Management degree. I have been in the roofing industry for 9+ years and have done everything from scheduling to ordering, supervising, payroll, sales, and managing sales teams and crews in San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi. I enjoy working for Prime because of the tight knit family feel. Everyone works together and supports one another to ensure we are all providing the best product and service on the market. In my free time I enjoy doing CrossFit, spending time with my dog Harley, and hanging out with friends and family. I look forward to servicing any and all of your roofing and gutter needs!
